We are very disappointed to advise that the EV Charger in the Village Hall car park will be permanently disconnected on the Friday 29th August 2025.

BP Pulse who service the unit have pulled out of supporting community units like our own. The decision by BP means that our totally viable unit must be scrapped.

This unit was 75% funded by the Office of Low Emission Vehicles and 25% by Project Purple community donations. During the 5½ years  that the unit has been in service, it has supported between 8 and 25 residents, family, friends and visitors in our community every month.

We have looked and continue to look for alternative solutions. In the meantime we would like to thank the Parish Council and the Village Hall Committee for supporting the installation.
